Sculptures with life.

Every Mosū creation is born from retired algae, which gives them a set lifespan to break down and return to nature.

In the great outdoors, this span can be as fast as 5 months. For us, this fleeting existence transforms what would otherwise be more “stuff” into sculptures with meaning.

A Concept Studio extending the lifecycle of waste materials, with art.

We believe that a need to intervene and forecast an object’s lifecycle is a vital part of its design, informing us from the start. As creators, we are mindful of the responsibilities that arise after releasing an object into the world.

Every Mosū creation imbues a traditionally informed practice, a traceable history and a means to eventually return to the Earth, completing its lifecycle as nature intended.
